Ultimate Bravery

Ultimate Bravery Rules

The Challenge

Ultimate Bravery is a self-imposed challenge for League of Legends players. The rules are simple: generate a random build and play an entire game using only that build. No deviations, no substitutions, no backing down.

Core Rules

  1. Play the assigned champion. You must pick the champion that Ultimate Bravery assigns to you. If that champion is banned or picked by someone else, you may re-roll once.
  2. Build the assigned items. You must build every item shown in your random build, in any order you choose. You may buy starter items and components on your way to completing assigned items.
  3. Use the assigned runes. Set up your rune page exactly as shown before the game starts. The stat shards (offense, flex, defense) are your choice.
  4. Use the assigned summoner spells. Take the two summoner spells shown. If you're playing jungle, Smite will always be included.
  5. No selling completed items. Once you finish building an assigned item, you cannot sell it. If you run out of item slots, you may sell non-assigned items (like starter items).
  6. Skill order is free. You may level your abilities in whatever order you choose — this is a test of bravery, not insanity.

Game Modes

Ultimate Bravery works in any League of Legends game mode, but the experience varies:

  • Summoner's Rift (Normal/Draft): The classic experience. Best with a full premade group.
  • ARAM: The generator filters for Howling Abyss items. You get what you get from the random champion pool.
  • Ranked: Only for the truly brave. We don't officially recommend it, but we won't stop you.

Honor System

Ultimate Bravery is played on the honor system. There's no one checking your build in-game — the challenge is between you and your conscience. Real bravery means sticking to the build even when you're 0/5 and your team is pinging you.

Sharing & Proof

Every build has a unique shareable URL. Copy it and send it to friends before the game starts so they can verify your build. After the game, share your match history to prove you followed through. The best Ultimate Bravery moments are the ones you can share.
