Changelog
What has changed here, newest first. Game data is refreshed from Riot every week — currently patch 16.17.1.
- New
A daily team
Five builds a day, one per role, the same for everyone. Take one each and queue together, or take one and play it alone. A new team at midnight UTC.
- New
Items, runes and spells now say what they do
Hover an icon on a build — or tap it on a phone — and it tells you the item's stats and passive, the rune's effect, or what the summoner spell does.
- New
Press R to re-roll
A keyboard shortcut on the generator. It stays out of the way while you are typing a champion's name.
- New
One click from the homepage to a build
The Generate button goes straight to a build instead of stopping at a form first. Sharing the plain /build link now gives you a build too, rather than sending you back to the generator.
- Fixed
Support builds start with World Atlas
Support builds were opening with the wrong item. The support starter had never appeared in a generated build, because the rule that hides quest rewards was hiding it too.
- New
A real 404 page
A mistyped champion URL now lands somewhere with a way back in, instead of an unstyled error page.
- New
A page for every champion
All 173 champions have their own page with a build to start from, grouped into class hubs.
- Fixed
Every page fits a phone
Every page scrolled sideways on every phone. The header clipped its own navigation, and rune trees pushed past the edge of the screen.
- Fixed
Builds you can actually buy
Several rules were not being enforced: builds could hold two Tear items, ARAM could roll items that do not exist on that map, boots could be unbuyable, and a few legendary items had never appeared at all. Verified across 30,000 generated builds.
- New
Pages load a quarter of the weight
Every icon is served as WebP. The champion index went from 3.3 MB of images to 439 KB.
